The bus and coach-specific telematics services from OMNIplus ON can also be used for your existing fleet management and ITC systems. With the vehicle data interfaces, you can call up data points directly from the bus or coach then store, process and analyse them at will in standardised formats in your own system. There is no need to install additional hardware.

Integration made easy
With the Internet-based API ("Application Programming Interface"), vehicle data can also be made accessible to third-party providers without a physical plug connection. This makes it possible to integrate the extensive data into existing management and control systems without having to be logged into the OMNIplus ON Portal. OMNIplus ON's virtual vehicle data interfaces enable your buses and coaches to be networked in real time. The data is processed in the Cloud in accordance with the European GDPR. The Cloud is protected by multiple firewalls and complies with the latest cybersecurity requirements such as UN ECE R155.
Secure data exchange online
OMNIplus ON offers you four highly developed data packages of the highest quality for different requirements. The Data Package light gives you access to the FMS standard data according to FMS version 5. The Data Package plus is available for an even more detailed analysis of operating and deployment information. The diagnostic data package, on the other hand, provides all the data you need to ensure that your vehicle is always ready for operation. The new TiGR ITxPT data package uses the standardised ITxPT (Information Technology for Public Transport) data format, which was co-initiated by the UITP, to seamlessly and securely integrate vehicles and telematics systems from different manufacturers into your fleet management system. All four vehicle data interfaces can be booked online via the OMNIplus ON Portal in the commerce category for a monthly usage fee for individual buses and coaches. This requires the Bus Data Centre, which since 2018 has been installed as standard in all touring coaches and city buses, such as the fully electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro.
