1.1 Company registration

How can I register and access the service information for Mercedes-Benz and Setra Buses? You can register your company by ordering access to OMNIplus BusDoc. The registration form can be found here. Note: registration is always free of charge.

1.2 Creating a user account

A user name and starting password are created for the user listed in the order form when access to OMNIplus BusDoc is first ordered. You can create accounts for other users at any time by placing further orders.

1.3 Managing a company

Company data are managed by OMNIplus BusDoc administrators. Any requests for changes can be sent using the contact form. Please bear in mind that this may involve certain checking processes which can take several working days.

1.4 Managing users

Users are managed by OMNIplus BusDoc administrators. Please use the OMNIplus BusDoc registration form to obtain changes to user rights.

1.5 Deleting users

An OMNIplus BusDoc administrator can delete both users or their company. Please use the OMNIplus BusDoc registration form to have a user deleted. If you wish to have your company deleted, please use the contact form.

1.6 Login

The user receives confirmation of user approval (by email); this includes the user's user name, starting password and a link to the service portal for login.

3. Vehicle identification

3.1 VIN

Our Bus RMI products enable you to obtain a diverse range of service information specific to a vehicle by entering the VIN of that vehicle in OMNIplus BusDoc. What that information is depends on the specific OMNIplus BusDoc order for a user. Please use the contact form for any questions.

3.2 Product features

Due to technical restrictions, we can only make vehicle-specific documentation available when the vehicle identification number (VIN) is entered in the respective applications. In addition it is also possible to define vehicle model designations in the respective applications using product features (e.g. by selecting the model series and then a more detailed selection). However we do not recommend this as a vehicle-specific selection of RMI cannot be guaranteed.

4. Types of information

In order to access the respective types of information, you must procure the corresponding user rights for a user with the OMNIplus BusDoc registration form.

4.2 Term search

In the respective types of information, you can, to some extent, search for certain terms. This is however dependent on the functions of the type of information in question.

4.3 Navigation via product structure

In OMNIplus BusDoc, information can be found in most types of information by navigating through the three-level product structure.

4.4 Document ID

Within OMNIplus BusDoc and its types of information only certain types of document can be called up using document IDs.
